I had a very good experience with Dr. Perino. His bedside manner isn't the warmest, but he is very professional and very thorough. I was pleased with his ability to ask the right questions and listen to the answers. He was able to narrow down the problem and provide an accurate diagnosis... even when other doctors were not able to.
This was my first time at his office and everything went very smoothly. He was very professional and very thorough and I was pleasantly surprised!

I will not go back to see him. I didn't find his staff or him helpful in any way and left his office with medications for a condition I didn't have and no treatment given for what I originally came in for. I was incredibly disappointed!
This doctor told me to use alive or Advil and said to put warm compress on my rib cage when I had just got done telling him there was blood in my stool , which is a major sign of a ulcer. Very nauseous, sometimes throwing up. The pain is on my stomach but he said it was by my rib cage. I told him that because of the bloating it makes me rib cage sore because it bloats incredibly much. After studying more, I realized that he didn't even press on the points were stomach ulcers would really hurt which is by the sternum and by the bellybutton. he was pressing on my lower rib cage. Which made me feel like I didn't have anything too serious going on because of how he treated me. I do have to say he was tolerable to be around, not too rude, but like the other people said, he wouldn't listen my concerns. I was irritated that I was still dealing with this after the other doctors didn't give me the full dosage of meds needed to eradicate the H polyri that I've been dealing with ..I haven't eaten much over the past 4 months.. vomiting and pooping blood, isn't clear enough signs that something is clearly not right?! My pain keeps me up so I haven't slept well. He didn't even bother to look at my records of all my doctor visits and emergency room visits. Which would've told him that I did have H. pylori. I do see some of his points but also he did not help me heal my stomach ulcer. He was just giving me an antidepressant which does helps block some of the neurotransmitters that are receptive to pain and then another painkiller to help with the pain and pain for mission. But nothing to kill off the bacteria/no testing as done to see what was going on. If you understood how fast bacteria can grow he wouldn't be having me wait two more weeks and with the symptoms that I've said I am using. So my recommendation is that you find a different doctor that has your best interest at heart and that does not make you feel fear if you do not follow exactly what he prescribes.
Horrible experience. Had an endoscope. After coming home I had severe. Pain in my neck,felt like someone stabbed me in the neck. I recently found in my record that there was a tear in my esophagus. He never told me this and sent me home. I also told him I gagged bad during procedure, he wouldn't believe me and kept saying it wouldn't happen. Will never go back!
