very uncaring and rude definately after the money ,,,you can tell sleep study is his main goal $$$$$$$.....my husband has copd emphysema wasted over a year with this doc...went to another dr finally.... within 30 minutes we had a the information we needed..not sleep apnea..copd emphesia.....please dont waste your time or health with this man...
Dr. Saifee could have ordered another sleep study but studied the original one and the chip from my husband's CPAP. He then made some changes to the regime which have worked well. He was friendly and professional. Of the 3 sleep specialists my husband has seen, he was by far the best. Staff is friendly and efficient.
Great doctor who took a lot of time with me and explained all of my health issues in plain language that I could understand. The follow up visits with his staff have been great and everyone has been thorough, professional and friendly. Glad that I found Dr. Saifee!
It is with great sadness that I write this review about a "professional" Doctor of medicine with such an extraordinary specialty. I was seen by this heartless man during my stay at Dixie Regional Hospital (an absolutely wonderful and caring place by the way). He was one of two pulmonary specialists that had somethings to do with my care. I was very, very ill with an onset of pneumonia and heart failure plus other major health issues which occurred due to the current health issues I was facing. Before this I was a very healthy person. I was discharged with orders to follow up with my cardiologist (Dr Jensen who is absolutely caring and a beautiful human being) my pulmonary specialist (this heartless man I'm writing about) and my primary care physician. It took almost 2 months to get an appointment (he was suppose to see me within 1-2 weeks after discharge). My cardiologist whom I saw one week after discharge even called this mans office to try and get me in sooner without any luck because I had no insurance yet. Finally today I make a trip from Cedar City, UT to St George for my appointment March 31st ( he had an office in Cedar but they couldn't squeeze me in because he was booked until June supposedly). I'm on 5 liters of oxygen and the cylinders don't last very long on that amount of oxygen. So, on the freeway we had to stop to switch it out on the side of the road. We take 5 cylinders to be safe when I travel to St George for an appointment. The cylinder he had just switched out turned out to be defective and we didn't notice until I was having trouble breathing and it was not working so my husband had to pull over again to switch it out. By then we were running about 15 minutes behind and we called the doctors office to let them know and they said it was ok to just get there safe. When we arrive we are told that there was going to be a wait and we did not mind at all, we understood ( nobody was in the waiting room by the way). We sat for about 5 minutes and I was called back. Went to a room, they got my vitals, and went through the process with the medical assistant etc. we waited in there for about 10-15 minutes and this doctor knocked and barely saw me and said someone else's name and I said no I'm so and so, he backed away and left the door wide open and told his nurse/medical assistant that he was not going to see me because I was late! He was furious at her because she explained he could see me because his other patient wasn't there yet. He continued to argue with her repeating the same thing that I was late and he was not going to see me. All of this right outside the door and in front of me and my daughter. I could no believe it! A heart patient listening to this man mistreat his employee. Wow! I got up walked out to the front and the receptionist said to me "I was barely going to go get you, I'm sorry but he's backed up I can reschedule you in Cedar"?. I told her it was not her fault, don't worry about it and NO thanks I will not be coming back to see this man here or anywhere. I asked how much I owed, she said "nothing" and I walked slowly out. How humiliating it felt! I don't have the emotional health to be angry right now. I understand schedules because I'm a Realtor, loan officer, notary and have owned my own business. Sometimes things happen and situations get out of our control, there's nothing wrong with that. But this man's attitude was unnecessary and it's truly sad. I am a woman of great faith and I know there's a reason why this turned out the way it did. I'll probably read about him in the paper, or news media someday. Please be careful going to him or do some research on him. I wouldn't recommend going through this to anyone. Doesn't feel so good. Thank you for reading my review I hope it helps.
Dr. Saifee is the most amazing Doctor I have found in years. It takes a long time to get in to see him but it worth the wait. His office tries very hard to get you in and calls if they have cancellations. Dr. Saifee will spend as much time as needed. Never in a rush to see his other patients that are waiting. He is always willing to sit and explain things to me. I am very thankful that I found him
