They have join the ranks of ripping people off in Springdale. The food was good, but over priced; appetizer platter in st. George is $5 more in Springdale and smaller portions. Then they offer a locals discount of a whopping 10%. 50 cents off the overcharge.
The food here is great. The salsa while you wait is delicious they also have a bean dip that they bring out. They are quick to refill when you run out but usually you can only get through one batch. I have eaten here many times and love the chimichanga shredded beef. I always recommend Don Pedro's when family comes visiting.
The food here was ok. Nothing special. The experience is what killed it. I ordered to-go and went with a friend to pick it up. When I entered I saw a bag of take out sitting on top of the quarter vending machines and joked that it was probably ours. The room filled up as no one came for nearly 10 minutes to assist anyone. Finally when I was helped the hostess pointed to the bag of takeout, that same one that had been sitting on the vending machines getting cold for at least the time I was there, and said that it was mine. It was bad enough that it was left out like that, it was made worse that they didn't have the courtesy to even grab it and hand it to me.
The food is always good and we love the atmosphere!
Our water was always filled and enough chips and salsa. A star off for a "short" waiter. The food is very good.
