Love PAWS!! We adopted 2 dogs from them. They are amazing and knowledgeable on thier animals. They helped us find our perfect family pets.
I love P.A.W.S., we got our beautiful Ho'ola'ia from there. The staff is awesome, especially their volunteers! !
They provide a great place for animals that have been either abandoned or given up and take great lengths to provide quality care. They rely on volunteers and are in need for them now.
The staff seems cold and distracted, I left with any amazing new family member but I also left with some resentment... You are no more noble a human being than me because you work a P.A.W.S.! I love what you do here but please lose the attitude.
I was reluctant to write this review about an an incident that happened a few weeks ago but I heard from other people that they experienced the same thing so I want to bring it to your attention. I had heard good things about PAWS so I was happy to go with my friend who wanted to adopt a dog. When we got there we were pointed in the direction of the dog area and were allowed to go in by ourselves.No one came in to check on us the whole time we were there. We thought that was strange and irresponsible because they didn't know who we were. We could have been 2 psychos trying to hurt the dogs (we aren't). The area was clean and the dogs seemed healthy, but my friend pointed out that if you are lax about something as important as an animal's safety, what else are you lax about. Needless to say we left with a very bad impression of PAWS.
