Short but pretty hikes. Climbing up on rocks was relatively easy for an average person. Fantastic views of the city. This is a must visit site for anyone looking to do something fun and natural while visiting St. George. You can spend 15 minutes or a couple hours exploring this park.
My kids loved being able to climb on the rocks and explore. The best part we we're never more then 5 minutes away from the car but they explored for two hours. Can't wait to go back.
This may be the coolest "city park" I've ever been to. My wife and I spent a couple of hours climbing on/around/under rocks, checking out the city views, the local fauna, and the geology itself. Back home I get a flat walking path and some trees if I visit a park in town. If you've never been to St. George before, this park is actually a great intro to the town! Nicely done St. George!
It's a great place to spend with your family on a picnic or such. Especially on a cooler day when the splash pad on main is too cold.
Went just to check it out, ended up spending 4.5 hours exploring! Loved it! Lots of parking or if your more adventurous and able to do bigger climbs, you can ride your bike (bike parking available). Tons of space to explore, climb, walk, jump, and whatever you desire. Highly recommend.
Easy access to the red rocks and great for kids. Lots of little hiking areas from very easy to moderate. Nice picnic areas, usually clean, great views of the city, they even have restrooms.
My biggest cons is it gets really busy, and can tend to be a highschool hangout especially on Friday nights.
