.. I will NEVER ( even as a gift) receive a vehicle from Academy Auto again! This is a fair and honest warning to anyone who buys a vehicle from them. They are the most unprofessional, unreliable, unorganized ,scatterbrained business I have ever experienced! They sent my Title to the wrong address and when I called the D.M.V. they secured that the Post Office had "returned to sender"(Academy Auto) back in August. NO courtesy phone call, no apology, no explanation NO TITLE....nothing. Also upon receiving my license plate (which was past the allowed 45 day time period ) the sales man tried to bribe me with $300.00 "cash in hand" if I brought in someone to purchase a vehicle from Academy Auto.
When I asked the Sales man to please look in his office for my Title he put me on hold and returned with "sorry once we send it to you, it's out of our hands"..... well, I wonder what they do with it when the United States Post Office returns it back to them??? HUMMMM! Never buy a vehicle from this place!! Unless you want the run-a-round, games and lies.
