I'm a huge food critic, I spent two to three days a week eating out trying new restaurants. I don't buy the $9 dollar burger no no, I go for the pricy meals. I can't give Hank's a 5 star. Instead I give it a 3 star. I love the setup it is extremely clean and fancy. With a fancy restaurant should come a fancy uniformed staff. Same shoes, same shirt, same pants. Soft makeup and a tight bun ponytail hair due. Same with guys no matter if you have gauges on your ears and long hair or beard. Gauges should be closed off and not see through. Beard should be comb and trimmed. Long hair on a man bun.
Now the food, a $32 dollar steak should come with a better side dish. Forget the baked potatoes that's old and just plain cheap. How about that over cooked zucchini Meh. Let's not even talk about the cheap looking salad. From my $32 dollar steak I would have loved seeing a sharp Caesar salad, maybe a buttery garlic mashed potato, slightly steamed green beans or grilled asparagus. The steak was a great cut no doubt about that but not worth $32 however adding a scoop of blue cheese butter or a garlic rosemary butter would have given it a OMG taste. The steak still needed flavor. You don't need much maybe an hour before cooking all they need is olive oil, black pepper and kosher salt or sea salt that's it. It didn't have flavor.......the ribs was my wife meal. Jack Daniel sauce is great however when the ribs are seasoned with an overwhelming, I don't know oregano or something like that it's all you can taste...they were cooked to perfection tho..... the alcoholic drinks were priced very well and the amount of alcohol to mixer was perfect. 12 years ago I was a sous chef in NYC and in one of the best golf club in NJ. I guess I miss the job.
Always good food. Love the Salmon Salad. Light and filling with a nice piece of salmon.
The food was tasty, our server was nice, and while we didn't order drinks, their alcoholic beverages were priced very reasonably. All of us agreed we would definitely come back again!
