For everyone to know...many of us in this area are or have been small business owners. We grow by networking and doing business with each other. Today I visited this store anxious to do business with another small business owner in the area, as I was waiting I noticed two gentlemen professionally dressed and patiently waiting to speak with the owner. When they explained that they were just visiting to introduce themselves and perhaps provide them with a comparison of their products the owner, very rudely told them he wasn't interested. So Mr. Maytag, I was prepared to place a large order with you today to furnish a dozen or so sets of new appliances for a housing project, guess what...you won' get the order.
I needed a part for my dryer and no one in town had it in stock but these guys did. The lady I talked to on the phone was super sweet and very helpful!! She had the part waiting for me when I got there even!!!
Washer and dryer were dead on arrival when we got them home. Still waiting for them to come repair them. Wish I had shopped elsewhere.
Have spent thousands of dollars with this company this year and they don't follow through on their commitments. Not so reliable. I am a fellow business owner and rely on this equipment to run my business day to day. We had an dryer emergency last Friday but was told they would be here Monday. They did not show and did not call. Called them on Tuesday and they said they would be here by noon. No show again, now they aren't coming until tomorrow. I wonder if I should ask them to pay my laundromat bill and pay for all the new towels I had to go buy to get through the business day today. So frustrating.
Web site sends you to an old physical address. They won't let you or family members use the bathrooms while you are waiting to load appliances.
They really need to take "reliable" out of their name before someone reports them for false advertising.
I really needed a pulley for my (not Maytag) dryer. After having an online appliance "specialist" send me the wrong part, and almost resend the same wrong part, I went searching around town for it. I couldn't find one anywhere until another nice local business recommended Reliable Maytag. I called and they had it in stock, and the same nice lady I spoke with on the phone had the part waiting for me when I got to the store. I couldn't have asked for more, and feel a little stupid for not checking our local businesses first.
