The staff are great. Eddie Stevenson and Ann azol are amazing at what they do. It's located in a great place in town that is easily found. Southwest also is host to AA and NA meetings
I apologize now for this being such a LONG review, but alongside the front desk staff, the therapist I've seen at here, the nurses/CNA's/medical assistants, and the Psychiatrist: They have all been quite Amazing. With their professionalism, their knowledge, each of their personal gifts with their career here, included with their consistency in being positive and truly caring about each person that comes in their door...
The front desk staff, (those who check you in and let you know when the Doctor or therapist is ready for you to go back into where their professional offices reside, and those who answer the incoming calls to make and cancel appointments on a daily basis: They are great and seem to always somehow greet you, when you walk in, with a positive hello and/or how are you today, "your name"? They also somehow Always have a smile for all of those who come through their doors... (even if they are extremely busy and/or stressing a bit. I've seen both a therapist and a Dr. of Psychiatry here so that my other physical Dr.'s can know that I'm also being taken care of, healing, and doing well on a mental and behavioral stability basis.... (while they take care of the more physical aspects: Neurology, Opthamalogy, Hematology, Cardiology, Pathology, Gynecology, Dermatology, Radiology, etc... I came down with a pretty serious illness about 12 years ago, and from that point on, (and mostly in the following 5-10 years, I've seen a Doctor-sometimes seen many times-a Dr. of each of all the medically focused professions I listed...And More...So, to top it all off and to complete my full circle of health: They all agreed, or thought the same thing: That they'd like me to be "watched/cared for/observed/etc... with the mental side of things as well.
And that is why I give them 5 out of 5 stars. SBHC is a Great place with some Very gifted staff, whether their gift is big or small: They all make, and have, a BIG Impact on every person who walks through their door. (Even if a person's gift is their smile that makes it impossible for you not to smile: It is a BIG thing...especially-I think is, and would have a Great Impact, if and anytime when someone may be struggling, suffering, or just feeling down. That 5 second smile, hello, "good to see you/how are you?", ...That 5 seconds could change up the whole outlook & direction of their day. Southwest is Definitely a 5/5 Star Organization, and I am Extremely Grateful and Thankful for how much, different people there, have helped me to heal So Much in the last 12 years... (and still going strong to become mentally strong, Positive, and back to being pretty darn Happy again.) Thank You EVERYONE at A SBHC. You've All had your own important, Great, and Positive impact; Not just on me, but I'm Sure: On a Great number of people in need of You.
