We found out about Brian Geer through a realtor friend of ours here in St. George, and after interviewing him, along with a few other contractors, felt a real connection with him. He showed us some homes that he had recently built, we met with the owners and liked what we saw, so we hired Brian to build a home for us. We appreciated that he was on schedule, on price and we became 100% satisfied with the work that he did. I've met with some prospects of his since he built our house, and a few have had him build their homes. Brian is very meticulous when he is building a house, not just in what he's doing for his customers, but also the area around the project (clean street, trash clean-up, etc). He was direct and honest all throughout the building process. He has an uncanny ability to multi task with subcontractors who respect and appreciate his years of home building knowledge.
I originally found out about Brian Greer from our architect, and even though we reviewed several possible builders, we selected Brian. He worked with us as we developed our plans and was also involved in the design phase. Being that we were only about four hours away during the building and design process, we could still come down and meet with him, appreciating that he was very knowledgeable throughout the process. We ended up building on another lot because when it came down to it the price was going to be too high. Brian's candor in being open with us with the costs, allowed us to find another home that met our budget better. We had Brian and his guys perform his work to update the home that we purchased, which was about ten years old. I am very pleased that he was able to do that and am very happy with the outcome.
Over ten years ago, we met Brian Geer at a Parade of Homes. When we decided to build a house, we interviewed two builders and chose Brian. Using a designer who he recommended, saved us quite a bit of money. Brian was with us every step of the way from the beginning, attended all the meetings with the design people, suggesting ways to save money and value engineer. He helped us for months before we had even signed the contract with him. Brian was actually on site at our property every single day except one. He was there to catch anything that could have become an issue and he just took care of it before it became a problem. We knew the house would take about six months to build and he was right on schedule. The budget was perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him and in fact we have. He could build hundreds of homes a year but he chooses quality over quantity. Our home was inspected at one point and the inspector commented that it was an exceptionally well-built home. Brian is just incredibly honest, in fact he gave us a credit back on some materials that he ended up not needing and lady at the bank commented that it was the first time she had ever dealt with a credit with a builder. He's an incredible builder, but on top of that Brian is an outstanding person.
We found out about Brian Geer from another homeowner in the subdivision we built our house in. He built several homes in our subdivision and built our home about two years ago. We were very comfortable with Brian and felt good about going forward with him, as he was very agreeable with what we wanted to do. My wife is pretty specific in the things she wants to do and his attitude was to try to make it work the way we wanted. If it wasn't possible he was clear and articulate on the reasons why it couldn't be done. He was also very clear on the numbers and transparent on how much things cost, which was a very fair process. Since we moved in, there have been a few slight cosmetic flaws and he's come right out and fixed it. I consider him a friend! Even now, if I have a problem with something, he'd help me take care of it. I would absolutely build another house with him and refer him to others.
Brian Geer came highly recommended by people we knew who knew of him by his reputation. We were living in Salt Lake at the time, about two years ago, when we were starting to interview builders and pursue options. We talked to three builders in total and felt most comfortable with Brian. The other two builders had enough complaints about them from past customers that we weren't comfortable going with them. Brian had no enemies which is pretty hard to do in construction. He helped get us together with an architect to assist us in designing our home. Everything went extremely well and Brian was able to apply pressure when needing to get the home finished in a timely manner. Everything was very satisfactory, and when we did have little issues to be fixed after we moved in, he was great about it. He's a pretty cool guy and we've enjoyed working with him.
