after a lot of dirt road driving, I wanted to return my Las Vegas rental looking presentable. The do-it-yourself spaces at this place did not work - swipe my credit card, machine does nothing about turning on the water. Lady in the next bay says it's not working for her either. We used the automated system which did OK, not great wash, left an odd purple streak (Soap??) on the back door. When I checked my credit card, the non-functioning bay had actually charged my card each time I swiped!! Tried to contact the company to sort this out, no reply after 40 rings.
If I went back, I'd use a different car wash stall, avoid the broken vacuum, and not buy tokens. I'd love to give this place 4 or 5 stars, but it just didn't cut it.
My advice to the owners: repair your sh** and put up signage.
Simple self serve wash with credit card reader. I don't like that there isn't a screen to tell you how much you have charged. The place is pretty old and worm out. Everything works ok, but the sprayer wasn't to stable and it took a while to get the soap to come out. Which is a problem when you are paying by the second. Overall it did the job, but no extras.
My original thought was wow, I like this place.
There was no sign anywhere saying tokens don't work on vacuums, though on the car wash it advertised if you use your card you get more time. Ofc it didn't advertise that discount on the token machine... Also, one of the vacuums wouldn't work, & again, no signage.
What bothered me was that I bought 5 tokens, which wouldn't work on the vacuums. Then I went to the car wash, and the hose was leaking moderately on top of my car, from the ceiling.
If you're okay with a 2 star badly maintained place, go for it. Otherwise, spend the extra dime and go elsewhere.
I got most of my dirt off but have little spots even after the spot free rinse.
The price seemed right, though it appeared a little ghetto, however that didn't bother me.
