Normally have always had a good experience at VI, but today was not. Service was good, but good was disappointing. Ordered the Corned Beef Hash and got something that looked like it came out of a dog food can. Had no real distinguishable flavor so chose to not eat it. Hash browns and eggs were good, but the pancakes were cooked too long and kind of hard. My wife got the Strawberry Crepes. She really liked them, but said they were a little too sugary. Overall service 4 stars, food 2 stars.
They need a hostess and a cashier on Saturdays. Coffee is Not good. But the food is good. We had bacon Benedict and a skillet. Both were good.
Excellent food with fair prices. Orange crapes are yummy. Triple berry pie is super. Great service.
There is a long wait for seating and a long line to pay.
Our server Eric was great. It was busy and he had most of the place to himself. Our order still came out fast and it was good.
I like "free pie" Wednesday. I have only eaten breakfast here. I like the VIB menu so I can order the 4 items I want. Service is always good. The cashier always has a smile. I didn't give 5 stars because I usually order eggs over medium with crispy bacon. Sometimes, the egg whites are not quite cooked and bacon is not crispy. I will say that today, my breakfast order was perfect. My server was named Brianna and she is one of the best servers I've had at Village Inn. I recommend it.
